Yes, it is time for a new blog. "Texas Tidings" did not seem an appropriate name anymore, since we are very soon leaving the Lone Star state. So, welcome to Days at SpringMeadows. As I mentioned in a previous post on my other blog (Texas Tidings), our new land which is eventually where we are hoping to settle we have called SpringMeadows. So, I hope to post bits of our daily lives as we enter into a new adventure. We are very excited about where the Lord is leading us. He has opened up doors for us in an amazing way.
We hope to leave in the wee hours of Thursday morning to head for our week trip out to our soon-to-be new surroundings. We are so looking forward to the sweet fellowship we are eager to enjoy with our dear friends. There will be a psalm sing Friday night and lots and lots of visiting. We will see friends we have not been able to enjoy being face to face with in years. And we will meet many new friends as well. Our closing on SpringMeadows is set for Monday. S has his orientation at his new job on Wed. Then before heading back to Texas we plan on visiting S's aunt out in Georgia. It will be a busy, but we pray blessed time. Once we get home we only have a few weeks till the big move!
Our hearts are rejoicing in the Lord's goodness to us. For those of you who are new, our testimony of how the Lord has brought us to this place is on my old blog at the link above. May the Lord be praised through all His works.
