Back Home and Lots to Do!

After traveling almost 2,500 miles we are back home, or did we leave home back in SC? :) We arrived back late Thursday night tired, but so thankful that the Lord gave us safety through so much travel. Even though we were only gone a week, it felt like we were there for ages, SO much happened during our time there. After some recovery time, getting unpacked from the trip, raking out the van (yes, KK we have used a rake before, eh??) it is now time to focus onward towards our move.

Today was FULL. Let's see, between the two of us we did alot! S and some of the children picked up 131 boxes (filled the van!) the Lord had provided for us free. I went the grocery store, folded a bunch of laundry, cleaned the walls to prepare for our rental house showings that might start on Tuesday (I went through 7 1/2 Mr Clean Magic erasors cleaning off my beautiful childrens marks!) and... I PACKED! Yes, I packed about 10 boxes of the school/library books back in the schoolroom/boys room.

Monday we have Homeschool Coop, during first class is the science fair. We managed to get all of them done before our trip. I will go through each of their projects.

E: Will adding corn syrup to bubble solution make a bubble stronger?

R: Is all bottled water chlorine free?

W: What affects the strength of an electromagnet?

J: How does air flow affect the movement of a sphere?

They each did their projects and have their display boards all ready to go with their results.

So, three more weeks of Co-op and school will be done for the year for us. Actually, two more weeks of schooling, with the third week being final classes and saying goodbye.

We have hired a vanline ABF for our move. It's a service where we do the packing and loading of the truck, but they drive it out there for us. It will be so nice to not have to drive the truck out. We will pull S's small car behind our van.

With less than 3 weeks to prepare, life will be very busy. But, we are very thankful and excited about this new adventure.

I hope everyone has a blessed Lord's Day...we truly do need a day of rest to come away from the hustle and bustle of the cares of this world, and focus on our blessed Redeemer, Christ Jesus.
