~~An amazing husband that is truly one of a kind. How can I portray how wonderful this man is?~Thankful for six beautiful babies to call my own (yes, mammas can still call them babies even as they enter the teens. :) )~The tenderness of my God who quenches not the smoking flax, not breaks the bruised reed but gently cares for those with young. As Matthew Henry said today " Such as was God's care of his Israel, when he brought them out of Egypt, not to lead them by the way of the Philistines (Exod. xiii. 17, 18), and such as was Jacob's care of his children and cattle, not to overdrive them (Gen. xxxiii. 13), such is Christ's care of the little ones of his family, and the lambs of his flock: he gently leads them. For want of this care, many times, the bottles break, and the wine is spilled; the profession of many miscarries and comes to nothing, through indiscretion at first."~A beautiful spring day with sunshine and the promise of new life everywhere~The feeling of enjoyment over areas of my life that I could not enjoy during my season of darkness this winter.~Mystery of History! We only have 20 lessons left!~Stefanie! I am so thankful for my helper...she is truly a gift from God.~The anticipation of a night out with my oldest son to spend some quality time together while we shop.~That on this day they call "Earth Day" I exalt my Creator and do not look to this earth but to Him who made the heaven and earth.~For a little 4yo who cries when it is naptime because her ears are not cold to rub them while she sucks her thumb...this is the same 4 yo who asks "Why" every few seconds.~For a 5yo who wants to flick my nail everytime he is near me (yes, he finds my longest nail on my hand)~For a 7yo who is growing so fast but still needs to be held by momma once in awhile~For a 9 yo who wants to be given more lady jobs and be doing more homemaking~For an 11yo who is constantly making new inventions--the newest being a big blow dart gun and tiny ones made out of pens as well.~For a 12 yo who is soon to be 13 that is rapidly becoming a man. He still wants to give me hugs and express his love to me daily. He thrives on my encouragement!~For my church and a wonderful Pastor who shepherds us like we have never experienced before!
I could go on and on, but this list has done me good, brought a smile to my face and made me realize I have much, so much to be thankful for!
