Van packed and ready to go...

...and we are EXCITED! The children were all a-chatter (is that a word?) this evening, but finally settled down to sleep. S has packed the van, except for the last minute things. We pull out early tomorrow. Instead of driving it in one LOOOOOONG day, we are going to break it into two. But, we hope to do the lions share of the driving tomorrow.

Good news! My mom has found us a perfect place to rent. It is a 4 bdrm 3 bath house out in the country, only a little over 4 mls from our new land. We can start getting animals even before we are at SpringMeadows if we want! The children have space to run and play.

So our itinerary looks like this:

Drive as far as we can tomorrow, stay overnight along the way

Arrive Friday late morning

Hug my dear mother over and over!

Meet with landlord, see the rental place and sign the lease papers

Meet up with our beloved best friends in the afternoon (we have not seen them for 3 years!)

Also, our best friends brother and family will be coming too. They are a precious family and this will really be such a reunion!!

Attend the Psalm Sing our new church is having.

Settle into the home where they are so hospitably hosting us.

Saturday: Spend with our dear friends and walk all around their new property and ours (a block apart!)

Lord's Day: Worship at our new church and rich fellowship afterwards. Say goodbye to the M and C family.

Monday: Closing on SpringMeadows

Tuesday: Dinner at one of the families in the church (the V family)

Wednesday: S's orientation at his new job

then saying goodbye to my dear mama and heading out of town

Going to see S's Aunt who is in Augusta, spending a few hours with her

Driving a few hours to a motel

Thursday: Drive the rest of the way back home.

All of this could change, and of course is the Lord willing.

But first, I guess we better try and get some sleep tonight.....but not quite yet. I AM a night owl you know. :)
